Circle of Friends (K Project OST)

Tonight, I will be featuring a very beautiful song from Project K, entitled Circle of Friends. This song was sang by Totsuka Tatara of Project K. While watching the anime, I was stunned with this song the moment I heard it. I fell in love instantly. The first thing that caught my attention was the singer’s voice. It was so smooth, silky, and cold. It  brought the ambiance of peace, serenity and calmness.

totsuka

When the guitar started strumming, my heart started beating rapidly as I felt like my nerves were tingling just from hearing the song (not to mention the friendship scene on the background). It nearly melt my heart and I could see just how great the bonding of Red Clan is and just how Totsuka Tatara became their inspiration. Totsuka was considered the light of the clan and their role model. I swear this man was a saint! Too bad that I only got a little chance to know him better, though, since he died on the first episode. But his character marked a special place in my heart and he became my crush.

And without further adieu, here are the lyrics lovelies!

Description: Ending Theme 2

Note: The video attached was high pitched. Too bad I couldn’t find the original version video. Nonetheless, you can listen the original version and download the music here.

Ikusen mono kō sasuru michi de, bokura wa deaeta The crossroad where people would walk and stray,
Hashagi attari, fuzake attari, shita ano hi It’s where we both met that day.

K: Return of Kings

K: Return of Kings

Yo! Konbanwa minna! Oh hisashiburi! I want to apologize to everyone because it took too long for me to update this blog again. Life got in my way and I was busy (plus lazy) for the past couple of months. Hence, my lack of updates and my draft blog posts keep on piling. But I am working on managing my time and following my schedule so that I can finish my drafts here and publish them. So here I am updating the blog once again!

K: Return of Kings

For tonight I will feature one anime that I followed recently (thanks to my best friend Tess for recommending this anime to me), and it instantly got me hooked! Featuring the season 2 of K Project. It is entitled K: Return of Kings. Let’s start with knowing its demographics.

Anime Demographics

Anime Title: K: Return of Kings
Started Airing: October 7, 2015
Written By: GoRa
Published By: Square Enix
Anime Studio: GoHands
Directed By: Shingo Suzuki
Genre: Action, Supernatural
Seasons: Season 2 (Ongoing), Season 1 (Complete),  K: Missing Kings (Movie)

Anime Plot:

In modern Japan, where history has strangely overlapped with reality. There, seven “Kings” with great superpowers existed. Along with their clansman to whom they shared their own power with, the kings each formed clans. Order bound by blue, red flames that cause chaos, irregularities that shine in white, and reforms branched off into green. The Kings, each with their own abilities, now…

With “jungle” once again jumping back into action, the fates of the various Kings are brought together.

Notes:

I just started watching Season 1 last week. On the first few episodes I admit that the flow was a bit dull and boring, slow paced. Not to mention I didn’t know how the whole “King” scheme works. I had to pester my friend occasionally so that she can explain to me how it worked. As I go on the anime I discovered that there are more mysteries beneath the surface, and at the end of the series I had my mouth forming an “O” shape form because of the twists the author gave to the story. It was like the author had me go through a bunch of zigzag twists, looping labyrinth until the ultimate twist was dropped (I will write a full review about the season 1 real soon so check it out!).

k.

Now, I am excited on this Season 2 because my mind was going haywire on what to happen next. I am excited to have Isana Yashiro (Silver King), my crush Kuroh Yatogami (known as the Black Dog) and Neko to get reunited again! Out of the seven clans, the Silver Clan was the one attached to me. Seriously, I am also pissed at this ridiculous game the Green clan have. Not to mention Kuroh’s senior, Yukari was part of the Green clan and is targeting him! Urrgh! I hate that he’s giving my Kuroh a hard time >_____<

K: Return of Kings

For those who haven’t watched it yet and would like to check it out, you can browse the links below. Please take note that you need to watch it in order because you might get confused on Season 2 if you haven’t watched its prequels.

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titans) Live Action

WARNING: SPOILERS ALERT! If you don’t want to get spoiled, don’t read it. But if you’re a sucker for spoilers, then do so! You’re most welcome to do it 😉

Konnichiwa minna! Oh hisashiburi da na! Kyou wa, watashi no Shinjeki no Kyojin live action wa reibyu de tsuite hanashimasu! (Good afternoon! It’s been a while! Today, I will talk about the recent showing of the live action or film adaptation of one of the most popular anime, Attack on Titans!) I just watched the movie (and I was fortunate enough that the live action was shown in our country) last August 12, 2015 and I immediately drafted this post after I went home.

Before I officially start my review, let’s have a quick background and demographics for the sake of those who didn’t know about the anime/live action yet (Though I bet almost all of you already knows it. Lol XD)

Fruits Basket Manga Sequel

Konbanwa minna san! For our first ever Manga News, we feature to you  an anime that I watched ever since I was a childhood. This anime is very special to me because it taught me (like literally taught me) that Animals also have feelings and needed to be treated with utmost respect. Not that I  didn’t treat them with respect since I am a pet lover, but when I watched this anime I literally cried because of the lessons I learned with it.

fruits basket, dainime world

So, what Anime am I talking about, then? It’s called Fruits Basket. Fruits Basket is about the story of a girl named Honda Tohru who is a student at Kaibara High School. Her  parents were already dead and so she ended up living in a tent, but then a landslide happened and her tent was destroyed. Her classmate,  Yuki Sohma (who is my crush!) mysteriously adopted her in their house. But unbeknownst to her, Yuki, as well as the other people living in the house, bears a secret. A curse. Each time an opposite gender hugged or touch them, they turn into a Zodiac Animal.

Of course, this anime was one hell of a laughtrip! But with the laughter also comes the most heartbreaking twists and scenes. Since we all know what happened in the manga ending (I ain’t spoiling you for those who haven’t read it 😛 ). Our lovely Mangaka, Natsuki Takaya, surprised us with an announcement of the Manga Sequel!

Yo! Konbanwa! I am back for another post. Just like I said, I am on the journey to make peace with anime, joke! I am on journey to watch, read and catch up with the latest Anime and Mangas that I had missed when I had gone to hiatus. One of the animes I am currently catching up is our Featured Anime: Durarara!!!

Durarara!!! Demographics:

Story Plot:

Mikado Ryūgamine, a young boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city moves to Ikebukuro to attend Raira Academy with his childhood friend Masaomi Kida, who he has not seen since he was young. After the two meet at the train station, they set out at night to the streets of Ikebukuro. Masaomi warns Mikado about people he doesn’t want to cross in the city, such as the violent and superhumanly strong man Shizuo Heiwajima, the information broker Izaya Orihara, and the mysterious gang known as “The Dollars.” After running into some of the side characters, Mikado sees a local legend called the “Black Rider”, who rides around Ikebukuro on a black bike that occasionally neighs like a horse, and who is rumored to have no head under her helmet. The “Black Rider” is Celty Sturluson, an Irish dullahan who is in Ikebukuro looking for her stolen head. The narrative follows all of the characters equally, showing how their lives intersect and creating a greater plot line from what each character knows about a common incident.

I started watching this anime because this was recommended to me by my friends and since I am currently writing a mystery, thriller story with a little bit of manipulation skills, my friends told me that this anime is the perfect deal. And I wasn’t disappointed! I love the mystery and action in this anime, especially the character Izaya Orihara. Izaya kun wa daisuki! <3.

izaya, dainime world

I love how he manipulates everyone around him and I love his critical thinking. He is a very interesting character that I would love to discover. And of course! My yaoi fujoshi feels is going in rage whenever Izaya meets with Shizuo! Ah! I just love their love-hate relationship! I have a feeling they both love each other. Izaya makes sure he torments Shizuo so that he won’t forget him and Shizuo is just. . . Ah! I love them! I ship Izuo ❤

durarara, izaya, shizuo

I am currently on Episode 14 and I am loving it so far. How about you? How do you find the anime? And the most important question: WHAT TEAM ARE YOU? SHIZAYA? OR IZUO? 😛
